Dvd System Power Requires Connecting.

Hi all,

 

Long time no post!!

 

I have had a couple round tonight who had bought a Galaxy with the dvd system part installed (Actually it used to be fully installed but a few bits were missing) I am selling my system (which I fitted into a Scorpio a while back; which is now scrapped) and as they lived close by I asked them to call round and that we could try some bits to get theirs working.

 

Anyway, with a few bits from my box of tricks I managed to get the system working..... but only If I power the lot off a battery connected in rather than the cable for the power in the car.

 

I found the connector under the drivers seat which was connected but no 12v and I also removed the radio but there was no sign of a splitter cable to power both the radio and dvd system. I have the full Ford install instructions but that states that there is a splitter behind the radio which I can't find. Can anyone tell me where the other end of the power cable to the control box under the armrest will be? The car is a 2005 Ghia
