lindsey1975 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 my speakers arent working, power is showing on stereo, but no volume from any speakers, how do i remove rear door trim to get to speakers Quote
chromedome Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 (edited) If all the speakers aren't working I would suggest the fault is at the radio and not in the doors, if it was one door I would agree. Make sure you have the radio code and then check all connections on the back of the radio. Edited June 22, 2009 by chromedome Quote

chromedome Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 (edited) It is more likely a fault on the radio. Very unlikely that all door speakers have failed. Do you know someone with a radio like yours that you can try? Edited June 23, 2009 by chromedome Quote
big_kev Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 First question would be which model radio is it ? Then is there a seperate amplifier powering the speakers ? Quote
lilbob Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 i agree with all said so far it is highly unlikely for all the speakers to have failed at the same time as others have said try a different radio first then check the amp(if fitted) Quote
chromedome Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 Just another thought. Has the vehicle ever had a mobile phone fitted? Maybe something is muting the system. Quote
srafferty Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 Just another thought. Has the vehicle ever had a mobile phone fitted? Maybe something is muting the system. It would show "Phone" in the display if this were the case, AFAIK  Quote
lilbob Posted June 25, 2009 Report Posted June 25, 2009 just a thought it isnt the wires that run from the door post in to the door that have been chaffed/ snapped is it? Quote
