How To Remove Door Trim To Fix Speakers

my speakers arent working, power is showing on stereo, but no volume from any speakers, how do i remove rear door trim to get to speakers

If all the speakers aren't working I would suggest the fault is at the radio and not in the doors, if it was one door I would agree.

 

Make sure you have the radio code and then check all connections on the back of the radio.

hi no all the connections on the back of radio are ok and display is coming up fine have right code etc

It is more likely a fault on the radio. Very unlikely that all door speakers have failed.

 

Do you know someone with a radio like yours that you can try?

First question would be which model radio is it ?

 

Then is there a seperate amplifier powering the speakers ?

i agree with all said so far it is highly unlikely for all the speakers to have failed at the same time

as others have said try a different radio first then check the amp(if fitted)

Just another thought. Has the vehicle ever had a mobile phone fitted? Maybe something is muting the system.

It would show "Phone" in the display if this were the case, AFAIK

just a thought it isnt the wires that run from the door post in to the door that have been chaffed/ snapped is it?
