bj2004 Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 do you not go in via the wheel arch slide a plastic panel up and its there Quote
gregers Posted June 20, 2009 Report Posted June 20, 2009 dunno?ive never tried that way before. Quote
edatelder Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 There have been loads of threads on this over the years. The little door in the wheel is meant for side light changing access but people say you need a small hand and lots of patience. The easiest way is to carefully remove the whole headlight unit using a long torx (star head) screwdriver. Only takes about 5 minutes. Put it back in the same position as it came from so the headlight alignment is not messed up. Quote
lilbob Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 i used the little access flap under the wheel arch yes you do need smallish hands but it took me less than 5 minutes Quote
Gazza Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Hi, i have a 51 plate Galaxy 1.9tdi ghia. The n/s side light has gone out, how do i get into change the bulb? Any help would be greatful.[] I have the same problem on a 02 plate Mk 2 Alhambra. I've been told two ways to replace, one is to remove the whole headlamp (brilliant desin) and second there is an inpection panel under front arch that slides back but be careful, dont slide too far back as it comes off the runners. Havent tried yet but will sart with the inspection panel first. Let you know how I get on. Quote
