sthreader Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 Hi everyone, i am new to the foruum but since buying our 1995 Galaxy a week ago we have been trying to fix all the little nick nacks with the help of a friend and a haynes manual. One thing we cant work out is whats wrong with the heater blower. When you start up the car the fan powers up but then it just stops. Any ideas of what his could be. Sugestions so far are the blower motor... but wouldn't this not power up at all??? the resistor is another one but i am told it works at higher numbers and its the same everytime powers up then dies. Or finaly the switch, but again surely it wouldn't power up in the the first place. I would also like to point out that it only powers up on the first turn over of the engine. if you switch the engine off and on it wont do it again unless you wait a little while...... My thought is the resistor but how do i get to it and replace it. Any help would be very grateful.....Thanks in advance. Sarah Quote
