Keanu Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Changed both front Upper Suspension bush. There is still an anoying skweaky noise when I turn the steering to the right, during extreme low speed, say during a 3 point turn. It also occassionaly skweaks during left turn, but mostly skweaks during right turn! One garage say's its the power steering pump, another says its the shock absorber and of course the bush was also suggested and completed with no luck yet. Any advice will be appreciated. cyborg Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 I think its most possible something basic like wheel bearing which do show there problems when turn as the cage is not holding the bearing other basic check your powersteering fluid. Other basic check Track rod bearing's etc.. In the extreme it might be time to " Install a new power assisted steering low pressure pipe assembly which damps out the vibration caused by pressure fluctuations in the PAS system." quote from bba-reman.com personally id live with the sound unless you think the wheels will fall off :) Quote
Mirez Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 I had a very similar noise, which occationally also came when going over speed bumps. Turned out to be the lower ball joint. Quote
Keanu Posted June 18, 2009 Author Report Posted June 18, 2009 It turned to be the left front shock absorbers leaking. Had them both side changed and now it seems the skweaky noise is gone. Quote
