Electric Window Failure Plus Air Con Compressor Failure!

My air con compressor has died and needs replacing, I have found a supplier that will supply to me but can it be fitted easily or must it be done by a trained proffesional?

 

Plus to add to my troubles my electric windows have all decided to stop working today!! Have checked the fuse but all fine there so where to look next?

Further to my post, I have just got in the car after driving all day with the windows shut and the windows are now working. I am sure my car has a mind of its own!!
