Hi,

I have aircon problems (yawn) the symptoms are normal operation of the control panel - fan works correctly in all positions and the a/c light comes on and off in response to the button, no flashing etc, but no power arrives at the clutch terminals.

The Ford diagnosis chart refers to the "aircon clutch control module" and some electrical tests there but can I eckers like find it! I've looked in all the usual places, behind the glove box, behind the battery, behind the radio area.

Obviously I've checked the relevant fuses etc. I'm generally familiar with vehicle electrical systems etc having maintained my own cars for over 30 years. I'm awaiting arrival of a VAG-COM cable and wil see if that sheds any light on it. Meantime does anyone know where this module is hidden?

Oh yes, the vehicle is a 53 plate 1.9TDi Zetec Galaxy Mk2.

TIA

I think you will find that this is really a relay (C16) in the central junction box. Probably 2nd row, 2nd from left. Exact position depends on build date, but by 2003 most bits had stabilised.

Many thanks George - that's very likely as the diagnosis chart refers to "C16" - I'll have a go at finding it at the weekend.

Was misled as the chart refers to it as a "Module".

Regards

Colin
