THE DADDY Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 i have a 1.9tdi galaxy it is a auto and a diesal on a 05 plate i had a problem where the car would go into limp mode and could not go over 60 mph this would reset it self if you stopped and restarted the engine but after about a year i lost all power and it bunny hopped all the way home( lucky i was only a short way from home) a mechanic pluged his computer in to the car and said it was the turbo pressure and could be a number of things when i got the car on axle stands to have a look the intercooler to the turbo hose had a large hole in it since changing it i have not had the problem of it going in to limp mode. so if you are having the same limp mode problem it is worth checking all the hoses it might save you some time and money i hope this helps Quote
