isk Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Hi everyone, I'd like to replace my radio/cassette (2007) with a cd (mp3 etc) player. My concern is, will the new stereo be compatible with the steering wheel controls?Unlike other stereos I know, this 2007 has an extra multi-pin socket at the back, in addition to the ISO one, with a bunch of cables plugged into it, so I suppose this is for those controls and the new stereo would need to have this socket as well.Any suggestions welcomed! ALARM MAN Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Be careful as the radio may have a amp underneath The 2007 im sure same as the good ladys car is very low power then runs through an amp underneath thin grey multiwire to amp also one to steering controls Yo may have to bypass amp but it could be a job just to get to it. Is the Galaxy you have the Ghia or GhiaX ? Ian Quote
isk Posted March 20, 2004 Author Report Posted March 20, 2004 the car is actually Alhambra, but the stereo is is Ford 2007 (although it says SEAT on the front) Quote
