bullfrog Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 Hi I've tried searching but struggling to find this, I suspect it's here somewhere. My 1998 ford galaxy ghia tdi rear driver window has stuck down. There is no sound of life when I press either up or down on the door panel switch. The other doors are working fine. I wish to remove the door trim to check if power is getting to the switch and/or motor however I see no obvious method of removal apart from pulling at it. I'd prefer to check the recommended way of doing this rather than just pulling and something breaking. So firstly how do I remove the rear door trim? Secondly if you've any suggestions as to why the window is stuck down or what wires/voltages to check I'm all ears. Thanks Jeremy/Bullfrog Quote
gregers Posted May 23, 2009 Report Posted May 23, 2009 wires in the rubber boot could be the cause, been posted endless times take a look in the faqs and its in there,as to the door card as far as i know you just have to pull it?you can get a special tool to do this but be aware you will probably need to get some new fastners.
