Car Colour Name?

Hi All,

 

Ive recently bought this 1998 1.8 LX verona its a dark green but I need to get the exact car colour as I want to buy the touch-up pens, but not sure what the name of the green is.

 

Any clues as to where i can find the exact name of the green on my car please?.

the colour will be given by the relevent letter/number in the colour box in the VIN plate

the colour box is number 11 thats the second from the bottom left hand side under the Ford badge

 

A Black, Copper Glow

B Diamond White

C Electric Current

D Petrol Blue

E Nouveau Red

F Java Blue, Astor Grey

G Coral Red, Panther Black

Get the touch-up pen from your local Ford dealer.

 

It will be a)cheaper than Halfords and b)more likely to colourmatch properly!!!

When I wanted the touch-up stick for my Galaxy, I went to the Ford dealer's parts counter. They entered the vehicle reg number into the computer and could tell from that the correct colour for the touch-up. The Ford touch-up stick was also cheaper than the Halfords equivalent.

Blimey!, thanks for letting me know, there's me thinking ford garages were the most expensive for EVERYTHING!.

 

Will get one from ford Taa muchly. :rolleyes:
