Now you can use the rocker switch to increase or decrease speed, press firmly up or down and you will feel speed alter. If you brake, use clutch or use accelerator peddle you will disengage CC although the symbol remains illuminated on the dash. If you then press rocker switch again, cruise control is re-engaged. To switch off completely, use slide switch so that CC symbol on dash disappears. no particular speed required that I have noticed but only tend to use it on motorways etc Think that just about covers it. The cruise control light may have been disabled in the ECU although this does not affect operation.Also it may not exist at all on early MK2 models again this does not affect operation. Cruise control will work at speeds greater than about 20mph or 30kph if your johnny foreigner. see link......LINK TO CRUISE CONTROL PROBLEMS Quote
