ormo Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 having problems with the galaxy, sometimes won't start, shows two rear warning lamps, these go out when peddle is pressed, but doesn't allways start, then when it does start i can't move shifter from park or nuetral, after a few attempts can hear a click from gear selector and will then shift. I have sprayed the brake switch above the peddle with wd4o, but still does it intermittently, does anyone know the part number for a new switch..1999 2.3 ghia x auto.. many thanks Quote
seatkid Posted April 30, 2009 Report Posted April 30, 2009 , shows two rear warning lamps, these go out when peddle is pressed, red herring....they all do that - its the rear light cluster test. Sounds as if you have a faulty inhibitor switch (mechanically damaged) - no amount of WD40 will fix that i'm afraid. Quote
