hi, i own a 2001 1.9 lt diesel tdi galaxy trend, i recently left the vehicle for 6 weeks, on my return the battery had discharged and would not recharge, so i purchased a new battery, , the vehicle started fine, however i now have no indicators or central locking system, has anyone experienced this, does anyone know the solution.

hi, forgot to add, i have checked the fuses, and they are ok.

Hi Barry,

 

I have the same problem, had to SORN my 1998 Galaxy 2.3 glx. started her up last week..... she coughed a bit but got going...... then i noticed that central locking had gone, indicators had gone, but also wipers too!!! fuses all check out ok.... have you solved your problem????

Hi Barry,

Solved my problem....... After you mentioned battery i had a look and found that there was wire that had come away from the battery. i have re-attatched and all is working now!!!

Hi can you tell me which wire had come away as I've got the same problem and have tried absolutely everything!

Hi There,

 

Did any of you guys find a solution for this problem.  Just have the same  problem with no indicators working or central locking and hazard lights.

 

Need to know how you resolved this.  i know it has been few years now.
