New Galaxy:

All diesel models have timing belts.

For the 2.0L and 2.2L, change period is 125,000 miles or 10 years whichever comes first.

The 1.8L belt needs to be changed at the 100,000 miles or 8 years service.

George.

I own a 2006 Ford Galaxy 2.0 TDCI and i'm wondering if it has a cam belt or a chain ... does anyone know ?

Thanks

cam belt and i think the interval guide is 60000 miles or 5 years which ever comes first, 120000 for tensioners and pulleys but i would change the whole kit every time to be on the safe side, i might even change the water pump as well whilst im in there, for the sake of about
