Track Rod Ends

have just fitted new track rod ends on both sides,,

have notice if you hold the rod you can move it slightly like a twist....

is this normal..........

have notice if you hold the rod you can move it slightly like a twist....

 

If you mean you can swivel the whole track rod an inch or so each way, that's normal - there is a ball joint at the other end connected to the steering rack.
