1018jackie Posted April 11, 2009 Report Posted April 11, 2009 We are trying to bleed the brakes on the ford Galaxy.. BUT, Nothing Any ideas as to why this is happening. The appears to be no fluid leak from anywhere, have been round the braks twice but still nothing. its pedal straight to the floor !!Would really appreeciate any ideas or info.Many thanks Quote

Shabazmo Posted April 12, 2009 Report Posted April 12, 2009 Master cylinder has failed by the sound of it, replace it to cure all ills. Sometimes you can bleed the Brake fluid resevoir. On the Golf and audi A3, air can get into the reservoir when if the level drops too low whilst bleeding and gets stuck there until it's bled via the bleed nipples on the resevoir. Best of luck Quote
