Keys And Fobs

Hello all I picked up my 1st galaxy today 1996 2.0L GLX,needed something versatile for fishing in france.It came with :--

 

1 red key

1 remote key

1 normal key

2 remote fobs

 

i have used 1 fob to open/close central locking and normal key for starting,are the fobs standard???,the fobs are black and silver about 1/2" by 1 1/2" with 2 buttons,the larger of the 2 opens/closes the door what does the smaller one do ??? I cant work out why only 1 key has remote on it and the other one dont ??

 

 

If someone could enlighten me i would be gratefully before i go pressing them all to see what happens :-)
