Load Protection Net Or Dog Guard

Hi,

I've just got myself a new Galaxy (Ghia, 2.2TDCi) and so far am enjoying it.

One thing we are thinking about is something is a load protection net or dog guard for when we go camping and have the boot filled up with all the gear.

 

Has anyone got either?

With the dog guard, can it be folded up? If so, how much does it come down below the roof? Can you use the back seats with the dog guard installed and folded up? Is it removable after it's been installed?

 

We were trying to get some information out of the dealer about it, but they have very little information.

I knows this is a older question but I'm also on the hunt for a net of some sorts to retain camping gear in the back should the worse happens and the car is in a nasty accident. I don't want the kids clouted on the head!

Does anybody have any ingenious solutions? I'm thinking of maybe a fishing net (trawler type) thrown over the lot and tied to anchor points ( I live in a fishing community)

Hi there, i got an old dog lead and threaded it through the tie down hook in the boot and then put the dog in its harness and then connect the lead to the harness, she has plenty of room to move around and cant get over the top of 2nd row seats......simples......mk 3 . 2.0 tdi

I'm thinking or ordering the official Ford dog guard for my new Galaxy which arrives in a few weeks time. I don't suppose anyone has any pictures of how the mountings look installed on the head linings?
