Rear Seats, 4 To 5?

I have the 6 captains chairs in my Galaxy instead of the 2-3-2 layout. I have heard it's possible to get the row of 3 seats in the centre as the fixings are under the carpet.

Is this true and if so, anyone done it?

But ask yourself the question - "do I really need 7 seats?" before you do. We've replaced our early Y reg 6 seater with a much newer 7 seater, and our kids found the old one much better, as they had more room and had armrests.

I think its possible and I'm fairly sure the floor mounting will be there (my Mk1 Alhambra can accomodate 2-2-2 and 2-3-2 layout) - check with insurance that it ok to do though.
