newland1 Posted March 29, 2009 Report Posted March 29, 2009 Can anyone help me interpret this engine error code I got on my 02 1.9tdi galaxy: 18074 Valve for pump-jet cylinder 1 (N240) Electrical malfunction P1666 I had a peek on another vag forum and someone was saying the problem was with their Injector wiring harness. Can anyone give me any clues as to where this is and how easy it is to replace? Thanks, Ian Quote

IIRC DaveG had this problem? do a search on the topic t has been covered before ;) the-boss..... how the hell you thought it was a crank sensor code I'll never know? you a Ford techie? Edited April 22, 2009 by mk2vr6 Quote

Thanks, Ianthe harness runs through the head to the injectors if you look at the engine on the right hand side of the head you will see a large black plug on the side of the head, unplug it and the bit it connects to on the head is the bit you need to replace, from memory you need to remove the inlet manifold to remove the rocker cover to unplug the harness from all 4 injectors inside the head, i think i payed about Quote
