Adding Rear Electric Window

Hi all long time no speak, I have gone back to a Gal and brought a 2.3 X reg but it not got electric windows in the rear has anybody done this conversion and apart from the obvious door cards is all the wiring there and is it just a matter of getting the motors and replacing the wind up ones.

you shouldnt need to replace the door cards the switch location is already there, its just how fussy you are? new door card or blanking gromit for the manual winder hole? the main problem will be the loom and the secondary controls/over ride buttons on the dash! if the primary loom to the door in the B post doesnt have the cables in? you will need to run a set of cables to the door and custom wire it all, plus you'll need the electric window/door looms!or another custom wire job

 

 

ps. I have a full set of motors and mechs kicking around for a mk1 :angry2: and possibly the door switches? been a while since I stashed it all in the garage so they have gone walkies!
