Hi

I hope someone may be able to help. We have a '95 Galaxy ghia and the OSR door wouldn't open, I took the trim off and manually unlocked the door, we replaced the lock but not the central locking motor. The door can be locked manually by the inside handle but not by the central locking. I have replaced the central locking motor but this has made no difference.

Could it be a faulty motor?

Anyone any ideas please as I am getting very frustrated with this thing :o

Have you belled out the wiring loom for continuity? common fault on the doors is the loom wire's cracking from the constant flexing :o unplug the loom where it plugs into the A post and check the condition of the wires in the rubber boot check them all for continuity from the plug to the locking motor plug

Cheers it was the wires. It looked like someone had had a go at them with a knife I had to repair seven wires :o

Once again thanks
