Oil Light On Rattling Top End

2ltr petrol engine for a while now when close to ol/filter change oil light would stay on for awhile tappets rattle light out then ok change oil/filter problems goes away been ongoing for 12 months now. Just done a trip to middlesborough and back drove like a bird enjoyable trip this morning oil light would not go out usual rattle AT TOP END ONLY eventuallyy went out then later would not go out

 

without stating the obvious THERE IS NO CRANK RATTLE this problem seems restricted to top end ie the oil pump is working ok else the crank would have gone by now is there some sort of valve for top end ie one way valve tappets now rattling heads off lol ( theres a suprisewith no oil)

 

Will also say i am a retired mechanic of 20 years plus but not used to these modern engines ya cant work on loli was gonna strip the oil press relief valve but couldnt find it so have not got round to it anyway guys your invaluable assistance would be appreciated and the location of any items worth checking

oil/filter was changed around october time do aveage mileage round townoil sg is correct oil level is correct
