mattc Posted February 15, 2009 Author Report Posted February 15, 2009 Okay, yes I'm a bonehead for not having a spare, but I was lucky enough to contact Andy from Andy Auto Keys who came and sorted the problem out in a jiffy. First I bought a secondhand blank key for 60 quid. Then Andy came and took the drivers door handle off, took the barrel out and cut a key to suit. Then he could turn the ignition on and program the two keys which work great. And all with a smile what a hero :16: . His total bill was 161 quid (plus the key)which I thought was not bad as the fraud dealers were talking about replacing all the locks ???? Andy also told me he does all the dealers lock work anyway. So all in all I happy and a little skint. Cheers Matt. Quote
