Loud Crack & Vibration On Acceleration?

Driving in town yesterday evening, just set off from traffic lights and heard/felt a loudish crack, car still drives but vibrates on acceleration, mileage curently 90k. Any ideas & likely cost?

if you shut off and accelerate does there appear to be a lot slop in the drive, if so the engine reaction bar under the vehicle might

have snapped, or the securing bolt snaped, grab the top of the engine and see if it rocks easily

as foster says - engine roll restrictor - bolt at gearbox end - will look ok though defo test by rocking engine
