mk2vr6 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 yes, you can fit a remote locking kit and not worry about having to replace the lock parts, it would be even better to remove the locks altogether to remove the chance of them failing again and possible causing further problems! just get hold of a set of rear door handles and use them in the front doors, this also improves security! mk2vr6 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Posted October 9, 2008 no you wont need the kit with the solenoids, you use the remote kit to fire the OE locking motor, if you hit the search engine there are quite a few posts on how to, what kits to use and where to connect too Quote
