marinabrid Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 hyi alltoday got the hissing brake pedal. checked the forum as usual and now cant find the thread i was readingafter checking the tis and following it , it states to empty brake resvoiur. disoneect all manner of things and remove brake lite and clutch switch.the thread i was reading didint mention any of this so i wondered if it was all needed to be done.is there an easy shortcut way to change this thing thats gonna cost me Quote

mk2vr6 Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 there doenst seem to be a used one in the country your looking in the wrong places! my mate has got hold of two of them from one breaker near us and returned them both! his was hissing intermitantly, it turned out the seal had flipped and once it was reseated the problem went away and has stayed away so far Quote
