Demon Posted September 17, 2008 Report Posted September 17, 2008 Following a health check from Ford they highlighted my ABS light was on, i decided to get the matter looked into by a local garage (ford prices :) ), plugged in computer "electronic fault sensor" sensor was changed still no change, plug in the computer again and now "mechanical fault" the reluctor ring had a crack in it and has been changed, cleared the code couple of metres down the road an it pops up, took it to a friend of the garage and he had a look plugged in a more detailed scanner and came back with air gap in sensor, bored out the hole a bit cleared the code and once again couple metres down the road and it came up now both the garages are baffled. I'm not in a big rush to get rid of it or going to pay silly money just be nice to look at the dash without the ABS light showing up, any help would be much appreciatedMany ThanksAnis Quote
