when you say switch gear do you mean the heater controls?

mine has digital climate if that is what you reffering to so would it still work?

That is why you need the new facia part as suggested above - it is the facia for the satnav system and is double DIN instead of 1.75. Alhambras and Sharans also come with this one as standard to fit in the VW Gamma separate radio and an in-dash CD player.

 

Although I have to say the wording in the reply from bj2004 above seems suspiciously familiar. If there was such a thing as 'cut and paste' on computers I might start to wonder whether one of my previous answers had been used....LOL

I replaced by Ford 5000 with a standard DIN Pioneer head unit and the sound quality improvement was immense. I would have liked to have fitted a double DIN unit but there aren't that many of them around and it can also be difficult to match up the illumination colour (if you're picky like me!)

And then of course there's the new surround trim required.....

From any Ford dealer. Part number quoted is Ford FINIS code that any Ford dealer would recognise. Costs

have the new surround but it is two big for my dvd player and as stated the buttons from the old one dont sit nice at all they look s**t 23.95 down the drain what else can i try any help would be great
