I don't post on here much, to be honest don't do much of anything except change, bath and wind now baby is here but would like to say thanks for the postings on insurance. I just went through Chris Knott and saved a fortune, I was with Elephant and was paying

I always cringe at insurance threads, there is so much to insurance than just who is cheapest.

 

For example I have fully comp cover, protected NCD, business use, no excess and replacement hire car on a like for like basis. But for that I pay a whole

age, and also ncb comes into play aswell dont forget,oh and if you have any points on your license

 

Mine is fully comp, 3 years no claims, total of 350 excess, that is 250 voluntary and 100 compulsary, breakdown cover that will either get me home or to my destination if i am at least 1 mile away from home, legal cover, all for 402 quid a year at age 34.With a clean sheet.

 

Oh, meant to add..went through swinton.

 

and another "oh" Miles per year also has an effect.

I know what you mean about price but I have exactly the same policy just paying a lot less just wanted other people to try them out. I know some people won't save due to age, NCD, location etc etc but with prices the way they are every penny counts these days.
