cowboyasterix Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 (edited) I bought this car with 195/60R16 tyres, but i found on website, that should be 215/55R16 when 130hp.195/60R16 up to 107hp, optional 205/55R16.I`ve got 16", 6 1/2" rims. So 215/55R16 will be ok for those rims? I think about: tyres on this website: http://www.tyresite.com/tyres.asp?width=21...=55&size=16 215/55R16 Hankook K105 97W XL Tyre or215/55R16 Cooper Zeon XTC 97V XL tyreor215/55R16 Kumho KW17 97H Tyreor215/55R16 Cooper Zeon XTC 97W XL tyre Anybody using those tyres? mumof4 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 there will be a sticker on the car, either a pillar or pertol cap that will ghive the different tyre sizes that i THINK can go on your gal. Quote
Triple Trouble Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 I've got the 130, sticker is on the driver door pillar. I'm using Bridgestone's Exedra, 215//55/16 97w, pricey but really pleased so far!! Quote

What different it may be?Once I had 8.85l./100mil. ;) If tyres are reinforced, then they ok for gal?eg.: http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?deta...n=So&Achse= orhttp://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?deta...n=So&Achse= Quote
mumof4 Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 tyres must be reinforced or extra load, anything else and you risk invalidating your insurance in the event of an accident Quote
ali tdi Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 be sure that the j fitting is wide enough too take the wider tyre or you'll have too much roll from tyres . and u will get very poor handeling. Quote
