Indicator Problems

HELP!!!!!! I have just bought a 1997 2.3 GLX Galaxy and i am having some probs the 1st which i have now sorted was drivers window would not go down and passenger window would go down but not up using drivers door switches, i found a broken wire in door to a frame boot.

Having fixed that i have no indicators , but i have hazard lights, and with key out ignition and indicator stalk either in left or right position my side lights on the relevant side are on but go off if stalk is in off position. need help urgently as new baby will be here Friday

sounds like you've popped a fuse or the stalk has failed if the hazards are still operating and the indicators are not

thats how the parking lights operate so thats ok ;)

deny everything and run like hell your screwed for life otherwise

Thanks very much found a fuse blown didnt seem to relate to indicators but it worked

I think you will find most of the info on the fuses, don't relate to what they say in the book, if that's what you mean.
