Brighter Headlights Please

Can some one suggest some sensible improvments for the headlights on a mk2 galaxy , doing alot of country lane driving and really need some brighter lights . Different bulbs possibly , i am not interested in colours just need a brighter light and cannot see me fitting some Cibi Super Oscars to a gal ???

They are very good and legal.

I have used these for some time now, they are a big improvement on standard, have better life than some other higher rated bulbs and are legal.

 

Plus the price is right!

Thanks gents for the recommendations , i have opted for the Philips Extreme as they could be had local . Have to wait till dark now to try them properly but you can see a vast improvment in the day lol
