Jimbo73 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Posted August 22, 2008 My galaxy is 2000 V reg, 2.3 Ghia, all works, even the air con, and has never failed me. It has 2 of the intergrated child seats in it, and is in great condition inside. How much extra would the intergrated child seats raise the price by? I am going to put it in the auto trader and thinking about e-bay. Never really sold a car before, and not sure which is best. Anyone have any good tips..?? Quote

The seats may make it easy to sell to a young family, though. My opinion is all cars on Ebay are either stolen/clocked/not quite right and have hidden difficult/impossible to fix/expensive faults. (I would be particularly wary of those with service history in Japanese........ :D ) Difficult time to sell big petrol motors although the 2000 reg helps. Quote

veedyf Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 imo if you get a bad car off ebay its your own fault for taking their word for it....ive never paid full end of auction price .......ppl who have been caught will allways slate ebay....but 9/10 times they want something for peanuts .....ebay is great ...you just gotta know what your doingnow traders they are the biggest crooks Quote
veedyf Posted August 30, 2008 Report Posted August 30, 2008 all depends on the milage but id say 1500 - 1700 quid Quote
galaxy20 Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 If its average mileage i should say its worth at least 2k maybe a bit more if its a very nice example. Quote
