mumof4 Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Posted August 27, 2008 Well, as you are all aware, i is back, had a great weekend, weather was hit and miss, putting up tents in lovely wind and rain was ace, but at least we didnt get flooded out! The pic below, is at an event called free flight, where any one can chuck a plane in the air and the only thing that keeps it going is whatever fuel it has in its tank, and the only thing controlling it is the wind. Its quite an event as planes end up everywhere, miles away, etcc.. and there can be near misses, but the fun is in the dodging and seeing how the planes fare. they usually only fly for around a min or so before the engines cut out. then its down to the wind for direction and where they go. bloomin ace. pic wasnt taken by me.
