Wiper Link

Hi

My wiper on the drivers side has stopped working. I had a look under the bonnet and noticed that the end of the link had come away. I pushed the link back in, but it keeps coming out after a few sweeps.

Is this easy to repair ????

If you go and search for wiper linkage there is lots that may help you with your problem.

This is a common problem I believe and the linkages are radily available, but not cheep.

 

Mine used to do this - the drivers side ball and socket joint would keep popping apart.

 

In the end I fixed it by drilling a hole through both the ball and socket and put a nut and bolt through - never failed since.
