Ford Galaxy Electrical Nightmares

Hi all,

I have a Ford Galaxy 2.0tdi 2002 plate diesel and the strangest things have started to happen. When I shut the rear passenger offside door all my windows go down. Secondly whilst driving there is an intermitent fault that turns my hazards on for two flashes and then turns them off. The car has done a lot of miles but surely potergeist activity is uncommon. Is this just the age and wear on tear on my electrics? Would it be expensive to repair or has the grim reaper come calling for me to swop the car ?

Check the door for broken insulation/shorting wires inside the rubber gaiter
