I'm thinking of selling my Silver 03 plate 1.9tdi Zetec 115bhp Diesel Galaxy. Great condition and well looked after (kept in garage overnight)

Credit Crunch taking hold and I am finding it hard to run and maintain two cars and a motorbike, so something's gotta give - And it ain't the motorbike!!

It has all the usual fittings:

7 seats

4 Alloys (2 new front tyres)

11mnths MOT, service and TAX (serviced every year)

69,000 on the clock

Witter Towbar

standard factory fitted cd player

Ford mats throughout

Mud flaps

No dents or scratches (apart from a few stone chips on front)

You'll be lucky ......... I got that for my Ghia and it only had 40K on the clock, the Journey pack 2 and had a twin electrics towbar fitted!

just take a look in ebay and see how much there going for,also look at the dealers near you for a rough guide on how much to ask for,think your find the dealers will be selling near the price your asking for yours and bear in mind they will put a warranty on it,will you?think you need to realistically look on how much you will be willing to get for yours,IF YOU DO get the amount your asking ask them if they want another 1 coz i know i wont get that for mine.

It's always the way, when you want to buy something you pay through the backside for it, but when you sell something you have to give it away!

I just don't fancy having to pay Gordon Brown stupid amounts to get the road tax!! Hence the reason for wanting rid of it.

you wont,iirc and its been posted on here fairly recently your car tax will not be going up by the amount your thinking it could be?do a search then make your mind up,sell the bike/wife/kids but keep the car :P

Anyway, my view point is: there is more than likely someone sumwhere who will pay what you are asking for, as some peeps will always think cheap is crap, and there is always sum1 who will pay over the odds even if its cheaper down the road.

 

Just have to advertise it right, ebay, auto flamin whatchamacallit ( cant remember the name of the mag) internet places that sell cars...you want that price, then try and sell it for that price... or be willing to haggle when a prospective buyer points out every little scratch or mark when they come to view..
