Audiman Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 Hey .. well done - thats not bad for a S reg. I've got to book mine in next week, my gal is a 2003 TDI Zetec. It's the first MOT I'm doing on this car - Is there anything I need to check for ? Quote
MrT Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 Unusual but make sure you have all your seats in, I usually have the back row out. The seats form part of the seat belts which are tested in the MoT. It would not fail the MoT but you would be issued with an advisory. Quote
katman Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 Hi all, Just thought I would share with you that my old gal has passed her MOT 1st time with no advisories!!!! Well chuffed as we are going down to Norfolk in 3weeks time for our Hols!! Woohoo!!! Nice one  that makes two of us then :) Mine sailed through today with no advisories. All I have done since last year is a service and had the front discs and pads replaced about a month ago. Last years MOT said the discs and pads would need to be done in 1000 mile so after hitting 12000 miles I thought I had better get them done LOL Am heading OUT of Norfolk at the weekend for a few days in Mablethorpe :) Quote
oafcowl Posted July 29, 2008 Author Report Posted July 29, 2008 Nice one, well done and have a good trip!! (We are off to Kelling Heath in Holt near Cromer and my inlaws have a cruiser moored up at Burgh castle!). Quote

katman Posted July 29, 2008 Report Posted July 29, 2008 Nice one, well done and have a good trip!! (We are off to Kelling Heath in Holt near Cromer and my inlaws have a cruiser moored up at Burgh castle!). Burgh Castle is only 4 miles up the road from me. Havent been to Holt for quite a while now, might take a trip up the coast road during the summer hols. Used to go that way quite a lot several years ago. Quote
oafcowl Posted July 30, 2008 Author Report Posted July 30, 2008 Lovely part of the country and a nice drive down from saddleworth, aprox 4 hours (5 with a couple of stops!) Kids wanting a wee etc.... Going to have a day out to Burgh Castle to have a look at the inlaws cruiser. Quote
