Dvd Region Code

I have recently bought an 06 New Shape Galaxy Ghia - loads of toys on it, nice motor.

 

I am after some help with the inbuilt DVD Player (2 screens in headrests). So far I have only found one DVD that actually works in it.

 

Do you know if there are any codes to change the region? And if yes how do I apply them?

You say you have only found one DVD that works, explain what disc's you have tried and which one worked ?

If it is the standard Vistron unit that was fitted, then I'm afraid there is no way to change the regions or make it multi-region. I went through this myself a couple of years ago and there were a lot of posts about it as well.

On further investigation DVDs that are Region 0 (Clarkson - Supercar Showdown) and Region 1 (Dirty Dancing - don't ask) work.

 

No Region 2 DVDs work at all.

 

 

As Region 0 is all regions, I am guessing the DVD player is set to Region 1.

 

 

So question is, how do I change it to Region 2?
