Right seeing as my radio is a mp3 version,how do i put music tracks on to a cd to play in car?i tried burning files on to disc but cd player display says "data error"

 

all replies type slowly and in laymans speak as total numpty this end.

You should be able to copy them directly to a blank cd using Nero or similar .....loads out there even windows media player can do it... make sure you use data-cd and not audio-cd.

 

Also make sure that you close the cd after burning otherwise it can only be read by another cd-writer not a cd-player.

 

Are they definitley mp3 files ?

err i think so converted them with nero?

From the Smart Start menu of Nero pick "Jukebox CD" and then add them to that.

good point mate its a vw radio rcd 200 so perhaps it only plays mp3 thru some attatchment

 

If it has mp3 written on it above the cd slot then it will play mps cd's.

Advise to recheck either your mp3 files or your method of burning cd's.

 

If not then it wont play mp3's.

I dont think there will be anything there. As the radio is not OE,there should have been satnav installed but previous owner took this out and stuck the radio in to fill the hole.

ah well will have to use normal cds for now thanks for all the help and advice peeps.

yippee thanks guys its all sorted now. It was a problem with the files. Loaded about 5 albums on to a cd all works fine .sn thanks for all your help everyone ,
