Guest a_chan24 Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 Hi, I have a problem with my ford KA, its a 1997 make. The problem is the cigarette socket is not working. There was no problem with it before I plugged in a 12v car vaccum. Now there is no power with anything I put in the socket. Can be that the fuse has blown? If so can anyone tell me which location in the fuse box is the one for the lighter? I have no idea as I do not have the manual. ThanksAlan
Guest karlska Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 Hello mate the fuse you're looking for is F5 and it's a 15AMP.I've just looked in the manual and it all looks pretty straightforward.F5 is for the lighter alone.Does your clock still work?If the clock doesn't work then the problem with both is probably due to a bad earth as both the lighter and the clock share the same earth.Hope this helps.
