ACD1055 Posted July 15, 2008 Author Report Posted July 15, 2008 Hi, Well picked up the Gal last night must say I'm very pleased got on the motorway selected 6th gear whacked on cruise control and she drove herself. I don't have any pic's yet going to have to wait until weekend I think, I did download the ones of the auto trader but there on my home PC and I'm always in work ;)( I do have one question but not sure if this is the correct part of the forum for it? As my Gal doesn't have a handbook I'm not sure how to fully operate the on board computer display that shows mpg, distance travelled etc using the wiper control stick on the right hand side of the steering wheel.. it currently has lots data in there but I don't know what most of it means nor do I know how to reset it.. Does anyone have a how to kind of guide? Quote

ACD1055 Posted August 18, 2008 Author Report Posted August 18, 2008 Hi All, Just thought I'd give you an update on the GAL.. I'm loving it :) really nice to drive and loads of room had 6 adults in it the other week no problem what so ever.. it's just a shame I don't get to drive it much :16: the wife has it during the day to ship the kids about and I use the Freelander at the weekends which now feels like a little sports car compared to the GAL and my good old 50cc scooter to get back and too from work during the week. I bought the GAL with no history so for peace of mind I have had the cam belt done and put on a new rear tyre as I noticed a hole in the tyre wall as I didn't fancy a blow out.I put 60 litres in the other week and the light came on at about 540 miles the on board computer said we had averaged 41.3 mpg I work it out at 40.9 mpg so pretty close is this about right based on about 180 motorway miles the rest trips to the shops etc. Quote
