insider Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 Doesn't it explain how to do this in the manual? On the Mk2 Galaxy, pressing the lock button twice locks the car without deadlocks and alarm. Perhaps it's similar on the Mk3? Quote

Level one should give you what you need - it'll only go off if a door is opened (I think it uses the courtesy light switch), and the interior sensors which would be affected by your subwoofer are not active. AndyBee Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 The alarm is activated by the first plip on the remote key (and deadlocks on the second). To deactivate the motion sensor, have a look though the menu operated by the righhand button on the steering wheel. That gives you the option to disable the interior alarm either as a default or you can set it to ask you each time you turm off the ignition. You also need to know this is you take your car on a ferry. Quote
MrEnigma Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 on the MKII you can also turn of the alarm using the manual lock, turn anti clockwise (lock) twice I have to do this because my alarm keeps going off for no reason!!! , need to fix that Quote
