Internal Fan Not Working

Hi, the internal fan on my galaxy only works on settings 3 and 4. Any ideas?

Resistor pack for internal fan blown.

This is a common fault on the galaxy - cost

how do you change the resistor pack as i have the same problem

Try a search of the forum, plenty of detailed explanation and probably pics too. You get to the pack via the glovebox.

It's quite easy to do, I took some pics and will post it.

It's a rubbish design, electrical capacity on setting 1 & 2 cannot take the load and burn out.

Incidently the resistor pack gets very hot - make sure you let car cool down for a while, before touching it.
