Goofygolfer Posted July 4, 2008 Author Report Posted July 4, 2008 Agree it looks like a multichanger plug As for the code pm meoh i see but i thought the cd changer plug was a square 12 plug? was hoping it was set up for mfd ah well back to drawing board. Quote
Goofygolfer Posted July 4, 2008 Author Report Posted July 4, 2008 hmmmm the plot thickens as im confused as why my gal has the black double din surround as opposed to the silver ally 1.5 din.and was speculating if previous owner had mfd satnav but whipped it out and slapped in a vw radio especially with the roof aerial as galaxies have aerial in rear quarterlight window?? or am i being a proper numpty. jkspoff Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 (edited) I'm pretty sure it is not a multichanger plug, as mine is completely different. it looks like it could be from a previously installed device, like you say a Sat Nav Unit or accessory, maybe a DVD player. Mirez Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 Yup thats the data connector the nav unit, you should also have a full size FIS as it sends the signals up to that, there should be another connector in the hole though for the nav antenna. Quote
Goofygolfer Posted July 5, 2008 Author Report Posted July 5, 2008 aha i was on the right track. So previous owner whipped out the mfd and slapped in a cheapy cd radio the cheapskate will have a grope for the aerial lead then maybe after my hols look for a cheapish mfd to put in happy days! Thanks for all your help guys Quote
