traveller Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 I've given them the benefit of the doubt up to now, but I think its time to admit that this isn't a dealer I'd point my worst enemy at. Following a catalogue of cockups, I went to collect my Galaxy again from them today following a respray of both passenger side doors which were scratched. It was persisting down with rain when I picked it up and they'd kindly left it outside, so no chance of inspecting it. Now I'm home, theres a new scratch at the bottom of the passenger side rear door that wasn't there before and its large enough and deep enough that theres no way they didn't see it. I simply cant be arsed to go back there yet again, so they'll get away with it. But I'll make damn sure I tell everyone I know that I'd rather buy a car from Arthur Daley than them. Quote
Johnny B Goode Posted July 17, 2008 Report Posted July 17, 2008 Good on ya m8 , my Galaxy power steering has failed again (4th time in 6 months) , I`m waiting for Bristol Street Ford in Gloucester to find me another "like for like " exchange after my wife nearly lost control of it when it failed last Friday , she now refuses to drive it ever again , I will start my own topic on this if they don`t hurry up, (I am after all dealing with the Managing Director) I`ve been waiting since Monday and haven`t heard a thing !Oh and I`m also contacting VOSA tomorrow to get a Mechanical Defect Report filled in (that should wake `em up a bit !!). I think there should be a thread on this forum for us to either praise up the product / dealer or slag them off if they deserve it ! John Quote
