G0DAH Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 I have a Ghia TDi Mk2 and have just had the offside sidelight bulb fail and, while I can get the sliding hatch open, getting my very large size hands in there is impossible, so that leads me to the questions 1) Is there a tool devised to reach the carrier? 2) Where can I get one (if it's available)? 3) If there isn't a tool how the hell do you do get the bulb out? I tried carving a piece of wood but having got that in the opening I couldn't get any of my hand in to turn the damn thing and to cap it all I got splinters from the wood. NOT a good day Quote
mk2vr6 Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 easiest option is to physically remove the whole head light from the vehicle and change the bulb! Quote
