traveller Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 I've never spent twenty grand on a car before, let alone a used one. Maybe I'm not with the times or whatever, but when spending that kind of dosh I expected the dealer to go the extra mile to make sure I was happy, maybe even to stroke me a bit. Well, okay, no stroking, but you know what I mean. It takes the edge off of it when things aint right, and instead of thinking "yeah, I did the best deal I could, and I'm happy with it" I'm left thinking "bugger, wont go there again". Wont name the dealer, because after all every story has two sides, but I'm now left knowing that the car I forked out over twenty thousand pounds for is going to come up with a bill for well over Quote
seatkid Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 20 grand on a used MkIII with 3mm left on tyres? You could easily pick up a brand new top spec for that (e.g. Quote
searcher Posted June 17, 2008 Report Posted June 17, 2008 At the end of the day the tyres are legal so i would put that down to experience in not getting them to change them before you took the car away, but deffo get the parking sensors sorted out cos that aint right. Quote
